Well that’s one way to ensure a backfire.
Create a petition to save it, apparently not broadcast it to many places, and have your representative point to the sub 100 signatures as “proof” that “no one cares” about it and it’s “good to shut it down…”
Every petition starts empty, right? Don’t present it until it has millions, but no harm in signing it now.
