I’m left-handed and Autistic, does that count?
That’s not fair. You get two days of recognition.
But yes it counts
Raise those smudged hands high in remembrance of those beaten in school for using the correct hand.
I remember in Kindergarten when my teacher tried to force me to write with my non-dominant hand.
We should all take up writing backwards like Da Vinci. Benefits include:
- not smudging everything we write
- not getting as many cramps in our hands
- making our writing much harder for righties to read.
Today is finally the recognition we deserve and desire. Bow before us mighty Lefty’s as we celebrate an entire day devoted to our awesomeness. You other types may have 364 days of being normal, but today is ours!
Quick, the lefties are starting to feel equal! Scare them off!
Those desks and the massive three-ringed binders, were the bane of my existence as a child.
Top bound/spiral note pads are far superior to note books.
Quick, we’ll take the stairs! Good luck following us, you mangy righties!
Ha, you’ve trapped yourself! Good luck getting back down!
Heeeeeeere righty righty righty…
I am left handed but not artistic.
I’m not left handed, but it’s my bday so feel free to hold my left hand to celebrate the day. :3
Happy birthday!
As a left-handed person and to all of my other fellow lefties, on this glorious day may I suggest that you find yourself a pair of left-handed scissors.
If you have never had a pair of left-handed scissors as a lefty you do not know what you are missing out on. It’s $15 to experience the joy of cutting things easily without having that weird finger cramp after you are done.
I finally made the jump last year and I have been kicking myself for all of the years I’ve missed out on the joys of having left-handed scissors.
Ned Flanders approves this comment
I’ve heard statements that lefthandedness correlates very strongly with transness, and when i look at how many left handed trans people i know, i’m inclined to believe that.
Keep my handedness out of yer dern mouth.
