So where will Canada get its vehicles from? Stellantis Canada just shut down their plants in Canada and Mexico. Are there other cars manufactured there? Or do they do the Chinese import thing? Do they import VWs from Europe (or other European built cars)?
It’s difficult to call cars “US made” when most of the parts and manufacturing isn’t done in the US. This is going to get tricky for everyone.
I just figured most cars were Chinese, Japanese or Korean
Japanese and Korean cars are often assembled in the US. Some are built elsewhere. I’m guessing you’ll be able to spot which ones by then becoming suddenly unaffordable in Canada?
