Doesn’t help that being a cop unironically requires less training then the vast majority of other jobs. You would think giving someone a gun to point at people, who they’re largely supposed to “protect” would require at least a few years of training.

Those areas apply to visible minorities aka black people and indigenous people etc. in the US, it doesn’t go the other way around, there are no sundown towns/areas for white people and there aren’t in Britian either.

Yeah I’ve seen almost no movement against Tumblr while everyone got very riled up about Meta federation ie fedipact, probably a blindspot bc users have positive associations with tumblr, but it’s still an ad/data company all the same.

Obviously a very progressive/inclusive decision, this person is as Japanese as living in Japan for 20 years can get you, the “controversy” is ridiculous and quite frankly racist, would be like if someone an ethincally Asian UK citizen won miss UK and then got accused of pushing an Eastern standard of beauty in an ethnically Anglo-Celtic-etc nation.

Yeah for sure, but, I imagine if 1/5~ people had a cow sleeping on the foot of their bed there would probably be a push to ban beef, it’s easy for a lot of people who are exposed to pets to make a distinction of pet vs livestock. It’s a whole other thing for most people to extend the empathy they have for pet animals to livestock animals.

I don’t live in Norway it’s not like I could do anything about it anyways, it was quicker to look this up than a legal analysis.

He’s alive and he got sentenced 21 years which was the maximum sentence, I’m not familiar with Norwegian law enough, but I assume they will somehow extend it when it expires in the 2030s, don’t see how someone like this could be trusted to not do something else comparable especially since he has basically shown no remorse for his actions.

If you’re asking this you should probably use one to be more safe if you’re exposing stuff to the web, there are other ways of doing it including just VPNing into your home network or using a VPS or cloudflare tunnels, but using a reverse proxy manager in combo with cloudflare DNS is a good place to start and is probably good enough if you use good enough security with it: long unique passwords, two factor, security keys, etc.
