yes. because our country was built on laws.

personal opinion has no room in the jurisprudence of the law. if laws were broken then then a guilty party must be held culpable.

in a perfect world Bryan Thompson would have been charged and tried for his crimes. unfortunately someone took the law into their own hands because they (rightfully) felt the law was inadequately responding to blatant corruption.

Bryan would be alive today had the laws been enforced as designed.

Idk what you’re getting at, but everything Brian Thompson did was legal. The insurance companies lobbied to make sure it was legal.

is that why UHC is currently under investigation by the justice department for fraudulent transactions that amount to around $80 billion per year?

Like I said. Innocent until proven guilty.

I doubt you can make a convincing argument against the presumption of innocence as it underpins the best legal systems in the world but give it a shot if you want.

Just seeing if you feel the same across the board. You support the innocence of Luigi and ICE agents until proven guilty. All ICE agents are innocent right now regardless of what they are seen doing.

You seem very fixated on ICE as a talking point.

I don’t particularly care what ICE agents are doing as I’m not from the USA and have no desire to go there.

You seem to think innocent until proven guilty is some sort of belief in factual innocence, which it isn’t. It’s the withholding of judgment until due process is performed.

I’m just making sure it’s applied equally for everybody. Luigi is innocent. ICE agents are innocent. Rapists in your country caught on video raping somebody but have yet to stand trial are innocent. Just clarifying that you would say the same thing about everybody who has not been convicted of something yet.

Yes because that’s how it works legally.

You seem to have some issue comprehending this.

No, I get it completely. I just wanted to understand your position, and I’m glad you feel the same way about Luigi as you do other people.
