Thanks to increased speed settings on videos, I can spend upwards of 90min an hour online.
I assumed this might have been a late 90s article about the “dangers” of internet addiction.
It was from fucking 2015. I really really hope it was satire.
Yeah, its a Clickhole article
oh man, in 98 it was nothing to spend 5 hours a day online.
Keep in mind that 35% of that was connecting and reconnecting.
Getting that download to 95% and a phone call coming in…
OMG yes!!!
Or someone in the house using the phone in the middle of it…
Every time i read such article there is strongly present unspoken “…instead of working his ass for his boss”
You could easily do 90 minutes in 2005. Hell, late 90’s too, just not continuously with people using the phone lol
I spend 90 minutes online before I even get out of the bed.
these kind of stories feel like they’re labeling things in a pejorative light to manufacture peer pressure so that people will think it’s bad; like “quiet quitting”
It’s from ClickHole, which is a site The Onion started parodying viral content sites like BuzzFeed or Bored Panda. It was sold to Cards Against Humanity in 2020.
Ninety minutes a day online doing what?
Goose starts chasing you
ONLINE DOING WHAT, MOTHERF*****
My worst week ever, I averaged 22 hours a day
bruh
I was not doing well
90 minutes? Madman. I couldn’t possibly be online so little time a day…
On a company PC or in an internet café?
