I for one don’t understand the ‘SEC underperformed week 1’ narrative. Texas lost a tight game to a good team (with terrible qb play), Kentucky had a weak showing and alabama may simply not be the team they were for the past two decades (c’mon Shula era tide, make that comeback!). But otherwise the conference looked good imo.
