This reminds me of the US, right after 9/11. They did not give a single fuck who they killed, invaded or bombed. And the rest of the world just stood there, looking at their feet.
Right after the Oct 7 Hamas attack, Israeli spokespeople were comparing the attack to 9/11. They were trying to make the comparison to drive support for their attacks on Gaza. But I couldn’t help but think that 9/11 got the US to enter a needless conflict killing a bunch of innocent people. They wanted to do the same thing.
