Not a Lenovo icon. They bought ThinkPad, nippleclit and all, from IBM.
Nah. Died when Lenovo bought it from IBM. Died again when IBM stopped offering support for them.
Shoot, I recognize this but can’t place it. Is it Bubblegum Crisis? Or Ghost in the Shell? Or… Hm.
Haha, I figured out how to search properly. It is Ghost in the Shell. Production value is way too high for BC anyway.
Nina Kalinina’s Windows 2: Final Fantasy of operating systems.
Okay good, I was gonna be mad but they linked Nina’s work up front.
It makes me think of “indica”
No question there.
Apparently it was a major influence on Link’s Awakening too.
That looks really cool. I’m going to get that set up on the home network tonight.
Dang. No way to jump straight to input mode? Probably not without a soldering iron.
The only problems I’ve had with DP are when I have to put it through an adapter to turn it into HDMI for a display that didn’t have DP input.
Video over USB-C just ends up being Display Port, doesn’t it? I guess it depends on the subtype of USB.
The transformation into crochety old man is complete. This AI being shoehorned into everything can get off my damn lawn too.

“Most influential RPG of the last 20 years”? I’d have called that Undertale, although its schtick was “what if Earthbound was like Earthbound”. Or Bravely Default but the thing it brought to the genre is “the ability to turn off all the things that make it an RPG”.
I haven’t heard of Off, and I am cautiously curious, but what influence has it had exactly?
I hate the loooooong toe in the back the most
“Every monster is the Butcher”
The scene in All Good Things where Picard is looking at Riker’s chair which has fallen over:
Some one keeps mo oo ooh ving my chaaaaair
The famous scene in Chain of Command:
I’m your only friend, I’m not your only friend, but I’m a little glowing friend, but really I’m not actually your friend
Any scene with Q:
Not to put too fine a point on it, say I’m the only bee in your bonnet
Any scene where Geordie explains something in technobabble:
Why does the sun shine? (1993 version)
Any scene in Enterprise’s episodes Affliction or Divergence where they talk about Klingon physiology:
Everyone wants prosthetic foreheads on their real heads
