Well I believe in the Marxian idea that economic situation causes political action, so I think people turn to radical Islam when their lives aren’t going well financially and they’re frustrated about that. So if I were a member of some theoretical communist organisation controlling China’s government, I’d apply a Marxian material analysis and find the economic drivers of radicalisation, and then institute public works projects to address them. Raise minimum wage, improve public transit, universal basic income, build affordable housing, that sort of thing. I wouldn’t lock them up and make them do labour, that’s America’s thing. Modern day China is turning into America 2.

well, you’ll never believe what china did. it invested heavily in the region, raising living standards by doing those things you listed. it also stopped US funded terrorists from influencing the population.

the result was an enormous success, possibly the most successful modern deradicalization program. terror attacks have stopped. and they didnt even have to bomb xinjiang to the ground.

Hm, putting people in camps isn’t in the list of things you said. You’re saying they didn’t put people in camps?

It’s clearly not a “genocide” and you started the discussion saying hexbear is into genocide denial.

If you want to shift the discussion to concentration camps, I think there’s certainly a discussion to be had but you’ll need to examine the connotations of the words concentration camps due to Western (white) genocides. What was the purpose of the camps and what was the result?
