It would have to be an American flag then you add those things. I prefer the solid black with a blue line. That’s what I have in front of my house.

minus-squareGoddessOfGouda@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·8 months agoWhy would they need to know you’re on their side? Isn’t their job to protect and serve regardless?
minus-squareNeuromancer@lemm.eeOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1arrow-down4·8 months agoI never said otherwise, but knowing where you have a safe house is always good. They know they can stop to talk, use the restroom, eat their lunch, or do anything else they need to do.
minus-squareGoddessOfGouda@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·8 months agoI’m gonna hang one of those up then refuse them service when they try and enter lol If that’s really what cops think of the blue flag, I’m about to use it against them 😂
minus-squareNeuromancer@lemm.eeOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1arrow-down3·8 months agoThat is such a weird comment. Do you think someone you don’t know would enter your home? Do often have strangers entering your home? I am involved in my community and talk to the local beat cops all the time. We have an amicable and cordial relationship. In return I get a safer neighborhood and we have kept out the homeless people.
