    I wonder why it’s so hard for the Mexican govt to dismantle the cartel.

    Does anyone have any good documentaries or books they’d recommend?

      Corruption is a big reason. Mexican government leaders tough on the cartels tend to end up dead

      ‘Just try it’-cartels

      They have as good or better weapons as the military at times. They have a stranglehold on governments, from the small town mayors to the capital.
