False. Congress banned the CDC from doing this kind of research. The FBI does perform crime statistics analysis as part of it’s Congressional mandate, available at https://cde.ucr.cjis.gov. I am well aware of the stats myself, and there is no correlation between violent crime rates and increased firearms regulations.
