  • That’s because it’s a stupid idea blurted out by a senile old man who’s just remember things talked about decades ago by other Presidents. He remembered the star wars program under Regan and here we go. At most it’s a bullshit front to pump money into more nukes to aim at China. As if they ever needed to justify that before.

Either that or it’s gonna be an excuse to point nukes at their own cities. Which I would t be surprised of either. If something ever comes about that jeopardizes their rule, I can see them burning it all down rather than losing control. It makes sense honestly. The more time passes the more their strategy seems to shift from winning against outside forces and more about losing in a way that keeps their power at home.

  • Not perhaps to plans of being ready for a war next year or 2028 but eventually and next decade likely.

Simply put, I doubt this is possible. Pentagon reports a decade ago admitted that by 2025 China’s military production will reach a point where the US will never be able to catch up and compete. China’s ship building alone is what, something like 200+ times that of the US now? If it takes them a decade to “decouple” to “be ready for war” it will just end up being nuclear because a conventional war will be impossible for the west to win.

  • So they MiGHT have working missiles on 3-5 more years… Assuming those corpos don’t just fuck off and make the F-35 version of a hypersonic missile. lol
Then then have to figure out a ship that can actually manage to launch them.
So realistically they have a decade before they start to have the same capabilities that China and Russia are already showing. Lol.
And this is the country that’s beating it’s chest and drumming for more war.

The only thing they have realistically that is a threat at this point is a lot of nukes. Idk how far along China is on systems to defend against nukes but I have to imagine they are getting pretty far along with it.

  • I swear we get some of the dumbest comments from ppl outside of Lemmygrad. Every time I see one with negatives I know it’s just some idiot lib or fed poster type.
Factory robots are pre programmed sets of movements that, if they get out of alignment, will just mess up and stop working properly. They don’t have much or any ability to analyze different tasks. They aren’t designed to be able to analyze different objects and move them accordingly on their own. Most don’t even have sensors and if they do is pretty basic shit to align two objects together for assembly. The fact you can move this around and have it do all sorts of tasks that this can analyze and do itself without further input makes it so far beyond a factory robot. You can’t even take an auto assembly arm from one part of the line and move it to another part of the line without reprogramming in the movement parameters.
