  • So they MiGHT have working missiles on 3-5 more years… Assuming those corpos don’t just fuck off and make the F-35 version of a hypersonic missile. lol
Then then have to figure out a ship that can actually manage to launch them.
So realistically they have a decade before they start to have the same capabilities that China and Russia are already showing. Lol.
And this is the country that’s beating it’s chest and drumming for more war.

The only thing they have realistically that is a threat at this point is a lot of nukes. Idk how far along China is on systems to defend against nukes but I have to imagine they are getting pretty far along with it.

  • I swear we get some of the dumbest comments from ppl outside of Lemmygrad. Every time I see one with negatives I know it’s just some idiot lib or fed poster type.
Factory robots are pre programmed sets of movements that, if they get out of alignment, will just mess up and stop working properly. They don’t have much or any ability to analyze different tasks. They aren’t designed to be able to analyze different objects and move them accordingly on their own. Most don’t even have sensors and if they do is pretty basic shit to align two objects together for assembly. The fact you can move this around and have it do all sorts of tasks that this can analyze and do itself without further input makes it so far beyond a factory robot. You can’t even take an auto assembly arm from one part of the line and move it to another part of the line without reprogramming in the movement parameters.

  • I imagine it will have an air lock system. You wouldn’t pressurize/depressurize the whole track. Just small sections at the beginning and end of the ride. You would board, and then the train pulls forward to a section of track that seals off from both the station and the rest of the track. That section is vacuumed then doors to the vacuum sealed rail open. Train moves out.

Then when nearing the next station the reverse is done. Train pulls into a section that is then sealed and pressurized. Then pulls forward into the station where people get off/board.

Assuming they would vacuum and pressurize the whole rail is silly. That’s like if they decided to depressurize the whole space station every time someone had to do a space walk. That’s not how that happens. The train would take up most of the space in the air lock section so there wouldn’t be nearly as much air to remove. It would probably take less time that you would spend boarding a commercial flight.

  • I am surprised the first response I got was not an attack. The pro pit propaganda runs hard and encouraged pretty rabbid harassment. I don’t blame people that don’t know for defending pits. It’s the ones that argue in bad faith and ignore obvious data that are the problem. There’s a reason why pits, and only pits, need to be defended so aggressively. All it takes is just googling reports of actual dog attacks to see almost all of the reports involved a pit or pit mix. Hell all you have to do is Google pictures of pitbulls vs porcupines and then compare those to literally any other dog breed vs porcupines. Normal dogs take a hit and get deterred out of their natural survival and pain avoidance instincts. Pits just maul them harder till they all but kill themselves. That’s what happens when you breed some poor animal to fight to the death against other animals. It’s tragic what we have bred into these dogs and even more tragic that instead of taking responsibility for it and at least attempting to breed it out and/or restrict breeding, we double down and make more and more lies about them that get innocent people maimed and killed. Then when people try to point all this out they get harassed to no end.
