Eh always iffy on putting ads on other ppls content (thats all of the internet lol), at least the beauty of the fediverse is they can always leave and host it themselves. I’m sure ads could be done right but I’ve yet to see it.

People will say you cant expect ppl to do stuff for fre but thy always do they just get overshadowed by ppl making ad money spending money on marketing

the dopamine from vr dogfights in close quarters with buildings to fly around and use as cover is insane, I also like the landing to capture base domination mode, warthunder could be so peak if they werent abusive

gpu prices are wild, I think amds better ones are not too bad tho and can run vr flight sims fine, winwig dropped a good cheap (around 100$) my issue is warthundes the only arcadey pvp option, their next game might be good tho, I really want s good flight sim game to hop on and off, treat like cod, drop into a city to close quarter dog fight or be what I thought war thunder was (a massive war with servers for different eras you can drop in as any vehicle type lol, I was delusional)

yep same, stopped chasing hardware for gaming just to need better hardware for rendering and using all the other software I got into

I’ve also pretty much hit every genre/platform of game so I got burnt out and tried gamedev before swiftching to arr, I like that I can have an idea and make something close to a final result without spending years (none of my game ideas are realisitic while with 3d art/animation thats viewed as a video you can get away with a lot!

Could only wait for the game that lets me be creative for so long, wish there was more realtime physics sim stuff outside of fames

I havent been gaming lately, I like playing with 3d software like blender, messing around setting up websites with vps and learning to setup my own fediverse instances, might go into local webdev or do some dropshipping, might do nothing with it, just fun to learn.

I dislike any with downvotes off, the worst take can have 20 downvotes 5 upvotes, will make it seem reasonable/common if you only see 5 upvotes

My issue with it is partially the playerbase, vr chat covid showed me how cool the playerbase could be when it isn’t just furries and anime girls. Struggled to find an active community of ppl making cool stuff (to me thats realtime vfx, magic, game/anime parody stuff) in vr chat post covid, most of those creators dipped.

My specs are apparently not good enough to not lag anywhere in Resonite, once I get decent performance, I’ll try the pc editor, I really like not having to make stuff directly in vr, using a mouse and keyboard in unity is more convenient for most stuff. My issue with meta is they failed to buy unity, took away the pc editor and now force you to make eveything in game even tho it is still using Unity and their devs get to use Unity directly.

Actual metaverse, consistent game physics, flight sim, animal sim, driving sim, etc. go through portals to enter different realms, like urban fantasy, high fantasy, scifi, cultivators, etc. inventory like those in cultivator/litrpg novels, I like the whole isekai genre fusion. Fusionfall prob influenced this take. Play as vr or pc/controller alongisde eachother. Vrchats never gonna be that, everythings avatar based no inventory, resonite meh, metas sucks, I dont see it happening
