If there was an effective vetting process for useful bots, eg the repost sleuth bot, that’d be nice. But the “good bot”/“bad bot” voting system just became its own form of spam.

I found the bot promoted in a different Telegram channel dedicated to making and sharing AI-generated nonconsensual pornography which has about 50,000 members.

This isn’t thought policing… First off, these are actions, but second, no one’s policing it.

Kind of, and it was a good way to keep trolls and spammers out of sensitive communities, but unfortunately with bots and astroturfing existing nowadays, karma incentives terrible behavior.

Never found the right balance. 🤷 I said “fuck it” anyway, because there’s a few reasons being less feminine is more comfortable for me. And I realized that there’s a lot clothes and accessories that I find pretty to look at, but I don’t really get anything from wearing them.

I think when they get a little older you obviously need to stop tracking them, but I also don’t think it’s bad to want to know where your little kids are.

I’m dumb; can they do that? I thought DoS attacks could be done without hacking, but a url redirect would require hacking, right?

I’m actually against AI art since creative professions are already lacking in labor rights, and it’s going to get worse now that they’re trying to make artists replaceable.

But one of the worst things about it, to me, is that it’s caused artists to start going to bat for IP laws. IP law is the reason you don’t get to finish that story you spent years on, because HBO deleted it in a tax write-off. You don’t even get to talk about what it might have been like, because you’re under NDA.

Now people want it to be illegal to be influenced by copyrighted things. Great.

Man… This was actually the thing that pushed me to delete Twitter a while back, algorithm error was feeding people gore. I never even saw any of it, but the anxiety of trying to avoid it wasn’t worth it.

The way things are going, I predict by 2026 my screen time will be down to zero hours.
