It’s just way faster for me most of the time. I can hit F12, do what I need, and be done without messing around with a mouse or touchpad.

Not a type of music I listen to a lot, but I’ve had this song on repeat recently
Another vote for a static site generator. I use Publii on Cloudflare Pages. I switched from Wordpress, and I find the maintenance significantly easier.
I have that same laptop, and it sounds perfect for what you want. Cheap, repairable, and runs linux well.
This was going to be my answer! I have other shows I love, but this one is just great beginning to end.
Done, thanks for the suggestion. I forget things like that sometimes.
I’ve been using https://squoosh.app/ a lot recently. Found it in a similar thread
EDIT: It is an image compression site where the images never leave your device. Or so the privacy policy says anyway. It took some tweaking, but i’ve had some images with an 80%+ size reducrion with almost no perceivable quality loss.
Thanks for reporting back, I appreciate it!
Do you know if there is a way to mute accounts only on the home tineline? I add some accounts to lists, and I only want to see them when i’m viewing that list.
It’s one of the main things keeping me on fedilab.
On Android I bounce between Tusky, Fedilab, and the different forks of the official app, but I use Fedilab the most.
I used syncthing for a while. Then tried github with mostly terrible results. Now i’m back on syncthing. It involves a little bit of setup, but i mostly forget about it now. It just works.
That issue with Boost may be device dependent. It is only a split second of black for me on an S23. But, i agree it should just be better no matter the device.
For Voyager, there is a setting to show the instance.
I still say “Rufio! Rufio!” almost every time I see a picture or mention of Dante Brasco, which is more frequently than you might think since ATLA is one of my comfort/background shows.
One of them is following me, but with a bunch of extra spaces after the exclamation point.
I don’t usually check my followers, but I happened to be in there a couple days ago. The only person following me then was my wife, so this bot/spam is relatively new.
Hard to say for sure, but one of my favorites is Amos Burton from The Expanse. I don’t know if he was meant to be anyone’s favorite given his personality and violent nature, but I love him anyway.
Your second point is a big one for me. If I hit the gym in the morning, I’m more likely to make better food choices throughout the day. Conversely, if I skip a planned gym day, i’m more likely to binge on anything I can get my hands on…
I dove headfirst recently and switched from KDE Plasma to Hyprland. I ended up using someone else’s config as a base, and I’m still tweaking, but so far, I have no regrets.
Pixelfed is the one i’m hoping for too. I follow a few people on there, but it would be nice if anyone I knew used it.
The PWA support on android isn’t great either. At least compared to chrome or even Samsung Internet.
