Some places in China are so technologically advanced, that every single thing you do is approved, verified and protected by facial recognition. Carrying a wallet/cash, locking doors, encountering traffic, and even petty crime in general are a thing of the past. In exchange, you’re monitored at all times by multiple cameras everywhere you go

I’d only expect this from China

Alan Wake seems to command reality far more profoundly than Maxwell, though “Alan’s” powers come with a caveat; His writing needs to make for a gripping story.

Well, this was extremely disappointing. Only one person had a helpful reply, pointing to this link explaining the basics, a couple others vaguely gestured about their distaste of Meta, and everyone else demonstrated an even lesser understanding of the fediverse than I had started with. One particular flat-earther just called me a slag and posted a screenshot of themselves downvoting all my comments.
