If that fails, scroll scroll scroll then maybe some gaming (marvel rivals and death stranding right now)

I have lucid dreams and I get excited when it happens and make some fun decisions. “Oh, this is a dream. Sweet, I’m gonna go do [X] now.” I always remember don’t try flying, because it was scary when I tried and jolted me out of the dream.
But here’s the thing. Once I’m awake, as I think about it, it seems like I did exactly what I wanted to do, but I realize that there’s absolutely no way of knowing whether I genuinely had control or just dreamed that I had control and made those choices. But in the end I did have control and made those choices because it’s my brain, right? And I feel like I did; it’s more like a memory than a dream. But following the same line, I could question reality.
Anyway, I’m currently cynical and think nobody actually controls their dreams, they only wake up thinking they did.
Amazing as always. I have no intention of getting switch 2 ($$$ and we have a steam deck) but the new James Bond game trailer is making it tough.
I wanted to share my home screen; thought you might appreciate it. I stole one of those pixel art cityscapes you shared and might put it to use:
The message cycles Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Night, Good Lord (for when I really should be asleep).
On a road trip driving/exploring the coast right now, so I’m not getting any gaming in. I hope that cabin provides some peace and relaxation for you!
In this case, someone would have to sue or otherwise intervene. But that action is radically unpopular. Nobody wants to be that guy.
I want to hard agree with Apple that people are, in fact, too stupid to choose their own apps, but not following Apple’s greedy logic.
Look at the top apps and sites people use. The tech billionaires. It’s stupid as hell
Ohhhh, I had no idea why I had that game
The gaming magazines were fun and all, but your posts take me days to get through because you really sell me on wanting to deep dive into everything, and you even provide links to exacerbate the situation!
Very nice work. These posts are genuinely my favorite thing I look forward to on Lemmy.
I finally started death stranding! I got goosebumps the first time I was out on a mission and the camera backed away letting you just experience the scenery and music. And then so scary when, you know, it’s scary. Great at setting the mood. It’s beautiful
Santa’s Red suit was a staple, at least in American advertising, for decades before coca cola did it
I was excited for that movie, and I think yeah they nailed the atmosphere. Ended up not liking it at all, though
I never played d&d or any games of that style, and probably missed out on a bunch of the catered moments, but I still enjoyed it very much
I really want to use Piefed, but Voyager app is so, so good
Many block only hexbear and lemmygrad because they are just propaganda machines. Mostly they were left unblocked until their users started to invade other instances to spread their blatant propaganda.
I think if it like an ad block. On lemm.ee, I blocked them both on my own anyway because I found them obnoxious.
If you go to the main page website of an instance and scroll all the way to the bottom, there should be an “instances” button that will tell you which instances are federated and which are blocked. I figure the default page is like lemme.ee/instances or sopuli.xyz/instances for example.
edit: I’ve upset the .ml Also, you’ll see most have chapo.chat is also on the blocked list because it is Hexbear when Hexbear lost their server or something
Sobering up left a void. He filled it with a different bad vice. Gotta have something positive to replace a vice before attempting to remove it
“Selectively” is a new word that wasn’t mentioned in the post I replied to. I get that it’s better to not have access to the data at all, and lying to customers is shitty, etc. I use signal and not telegram. But ‘refusing to comply with demands from other groups for data access is correct behavior’ was my only argument. Nothing about equivalence
Isn’t it good for a communication company to be noncompliant with people’s conversations?
My son and all of his friends played it for a day or two. He made a point of showing it to me, which he rarely does with Roblox. While he was showing me how to play, another player came and asked if he wanted to see his garden. It was huge. After, he gave my son a bunch of materials and cash (or something, I don’t remember), so that was pretty wholesome.
It was basic plant, water, pick, sell. Something I’d never seen in one of their games was it had a gacha system where you complete requested missions and get a random reward, like new or bigger seeds.
I have no idea what the monetization was, mine didn’t spend any.
At least in the US, I’m absolutely destroyed that people just don’t care. They talk like they care, but they just fucking don’t. I don’t get it at all. They will gripe about how evil and bad something is, then just keep using it. “If everyone else is, so will I” maybe. Group Inertia.
The fact they keep doing it leads me to believe we’re missing several instances where they’ve gotten away with it
Does she like an “assist” type role in games rather than lead? Or the communication? Or different people with different jobs?
