I love it! Reddit has slowly been going to shit for years, so many posters are nasty and there’s so much hysteria. There’s ads and political manipulation everywhere. I miss some of the subs, and would prefer a bit more activity but at the same time posts are far higher quality. Overall I’m really really happy and it’s been smooth and welcoming

I only heard about lemmy a few weeks ago I bet there’s more like me. I think it’s just a question of promoting it

I bought a henry hoover around 9 years ago, it’s still going as strong as the first day I bought it. 10/10 would buy again

I remember that, I remember reeling over the photos and some of them will never leave my head. It was the first time I just watched the news constantly the next day. It still horrifies me now.

Also if anyone is looking for a documentary on it the national geographic “one day in America” is excellent. It’s first hand accounts and its really respectful of everyone that suffered.
