If you’re unsure, buy a nice used ps4 with some games for dirt cheap to see if you like it. If you do, I suggest eventually moving forward with the PC route. Either a steam deck or a laptop and an Xbox controller. If you know you’re liking gaming you could go all out on a gaming desktop PC.

Consoles are nice, but a PC game library is compatible for decades of games, and you can buy them for a lot less $ most of the time.

You don’t typically check the curb side for oncoming traffic from behind you when making a right turn. A pedestrian would have been noticed before getting up to the intersection. A biker coming up from behind and illegally trying to go around an ambulance wouldn’t be.

It’d be different if the instance was actually crowded and overrun, but it isn’t. The instance gets like 20 posts on a good day.

Also, generally speaking, people interested in news about games read and seek out gaming sources that cover gaming info. Like kotaku.

Gaming is popular enough that there are several dedicated news and information sites to choose from. The “news” is for stuff of general interest. They could cover some gaming news, but for the most part people who want gaming news get it from more dedicated sources.
