Me, tbh I don’t like meta but the groups in facebooks is probably what keeps me there, for example there is a group about an anime and the guys there literally translate the new volumes of the novel months faster than other piracy sites, almost in the moment, there is also the memes and other posts that only appear around those groups. Not even reddit has that content, so what keeps me attached to facebook is mainly anime groups
Plain text files, all files sorted like 01S-C1 which means number 01 of a solution on C1 normally the last part means something like idk Linux? For example I solved a problem in my computer for the fifth time so I write 05S-L1.txt
I went back to reddit to see how are things going, just one day and I can conclude that Lemmy has become superior.
I know but … YouTube belongs to YouTube, and I’m sure google is already making tons of money selling/using the data of all their users so… I would not have a problem with one or two ads, but they often put three or more annoying ads per video.
Everytime US users call their country ‘America’ it sounds weird. America is a continent, not a country.
I could not find it on Firefox without the: “about:profiles” that you mentioned, probably it’s not easy to find, it’s the first time I see it on Firefox. In Floorp is: Settings -> Profiles -> -Create, switch, config…
I just use one browser actually, Floorp. What I like about it it’s the ‘Profiles’ feature, before Floorp I used Firefox, Librewolf, etc.
With Floorp I can just create another profile that it’s like another browser. It’s probably the best Firefox based browser but it’s not very known.
firefox based browsers, ublock, and I avoid using google accounts.
I’m glad I stopped using chrome / chromium a long time ago.
That’s not the case on South America, our countries may not be the best, sometimes governments try to improve a few things and fail, but the good thing is, no one cares about piracy, so at least here governments are not even fighting piracy it seems
It can be useful for basic coding or to answer questions like ‘Is there any way to do X thing in Javascript?’ I were talking about it with some classmates , they said the same. There was one program I was doing on my own with Js & Html (I’m still learning) and for relying to much on GPT without much knowledge I ended up “walking on circles” for 6 Hours without any progress. It is good for giving some information and sometimes finding a bug, but never, never use it as if it were capable of doing everything. It’s a tool, not a programmer.
1: Has just three letters. 2: Doesn’t really mean anything. 3: I like how it sounds.
Almost every book I read back when I was a school student.
Each month we had to read a boring book chosen by the school, and at the end of each month we had a annoying test with questions like: “When the protagonist discovered the truth, what was the emotion he felt?” Or “How did the author felt when writing this?” So I had to read 300 pages of a boring book and pay attention to each detail each month.
I don’t dislike reading, actually I enjoy good books, but reading something against my will is sickening.
