Definitely explainable by mere coincidence, and only really a little strange but in the interest of contributing more content to Lemmy:

In 2015 I had a dream that I met with Markiplier in person. I don’t remember the details of anything, but I remember him extremely distraught, crying, like someone had died and me trying my hardest to console him. The very next day he posted the video talking about his friend Daniel Kyre’s passing. Im certain there was no post or anything that I saw regarding this before seeing that video.

I had very frequent nightmares and also watched a lot of Markiplier at the time, so it’s really just a timing coincidence.

Huh, I just considered I don’t have a typical pocket I put my phone in. I’m right handed and I think I tend to put my phone in my left pocket more? Maybe? But I just took it out of my right pocket so I’m not sure.

Robot Rock is not an example of using an instrument to create the auditory illusion of talking like the talking piano is. I’m pretty sure Daft Punk are just using a talk box. The talking piano illusion happens because you’re mixing the frequencies of the tones of the keys to match as best as possible the frequencies of speech. A talk box simply takes the sound from the guitar through a tube that’s then put into your mouth and you kind of “mouth” the words into a microphone, kind of like if your voice was the guitar but your mouth still makes the movements.

Crazy that you’re getting downvoted for this. I smoke occasionally, but used to smoke daily and had to quit cold turkey for over a year. I now (almost 3 years since I first stopped cold turkey) refuse to have any marijuana on me and only smoke on the occasion that I’m out with friends and it’s offered to me. That ends up being about one toke a month. Irritability and bad mood for chronic smokers when they haven’t smoked enough to get withdrawals is common enough (anecdotally from my own experience quitting and seeing others around me struggling with it as well).

Especially if someone has quit and finds the smell off-putting or doesn’t like to be around people who are either constantly baked or very irritable, this point of view is perfectly valid and adds to the conversation. Don’t downvote just because you personally disagree.
