I don’t see why this is bad. Even now, it’s still a major forum of incredible human wisdom and knowledge that you can’t easily find anywhere else—not even here quite yet, I think. It’s the leadership that sucks but the users are mostly amazing (in specific subreddits, at least), and those are the awesome people I refer to and am grateful for interaction with.

Yes, it was the cheap camera tricks obscuring parts of the map that you could go to that did it for me. It was, like, basically making you check for every possible secret despite the limited abilities of no camera control nor destructible terrain… I get that there was an era of games with this mindset (sorta like some Metroid-&-other games, I suppose), but I just don’t have time for that any more.

This may sound odd to some, but my stance towards quality games is: punish fairly. Life is hard enough as it is so I don’t need a game also going, “Haha, well, screw you here, too.” Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

2. Since you’re still alive, then is this no longer the case? Obviously I’m not condoning your death, but by deduction then this should be “believed” at one point and no longer now—unless you mean that you think you’re actively choosing to be selfish by continuing to live, I suppose.

There is zero trauma in nonexistence; there is indeed nothing at all, which includes all happy memories as well. No garlic pesto pizza, no Andor season 2, music, sports, games, Lemmy…

My view is neutral to positive, because I would be a horrible parent who would be in misery if I were to raise a kid in the capacity of a parent.

We’ve all met people of whom we have rightfully thought, “That person should never have been a parent.” I’m another one of the many. I can barely get myself to do my own chores as someone living alone; what makes you think I’d be competent at healthily raising an entire other human being?

I’m surprised that this one person influenced you that much. It should be common sense that the only people who should be parents (by adoption or otherwise) are those with both a burning desire to be parents and a healthy understanding of autonomy.

If Surfaces can install it (a quick search suggests that it can), you can use AutoHotkey to build your own GUI/popup window of an adjustable list of all of these nonstandard characters. Think of it like a customizable charmap only showing the ones you wanna see in your specified order.

Alternatively, you could use AutoHotkey to map Alt+Shift+E or whatever you want to instantly spit out ∈, etc.

You don’t need to patch it; you just need to be a mod of a subreddit. I’ve had no problem continuing with using regular Boost for Reddit post-API restriction, as a mod in various places.
