I don’t think you need to get yourself banned. Tell them you will make the switch, and when you’ll make it. You don’t need to explain yourself any further or make excuses.

Pretty much any variation of power saw. The closer your hands are to the moving saw, the worse. Hand saws are cool tho. Love my Ryoba
Saws. The sound they’re making shakes me to my core and having to help someone who almost amputated their finger enforced that fear further
King Arthur will come with his coconut playing entourage and claim my mortal soul. I should get a white rabbit. or maybe I should avoid it? Who can tell
Not that many, bacause I don’t have a lot of space. I borrow from the library occasionally, which is brilliant, because it’s cheap and doesn’t take up space.
And yes, I weed my collection and keep only books that I really enjoyed or know that I’ll reread. Sometimes I try to sell them 2nd hand, others that are lesser value I leave at these public book cabinets.
I hardly ever give away educational books though. I feel like I could come back at them anytime and they’ll still provide information and usefullness.
Selma was the most fun to draw and it shows, everybody else looks kinda unhinged xD
I do it to feel good about myself. Sometimes I fail or miss the mark, which is okay. At the end of the day I want to be able to be okay with my deeds.
When the code finally works, the computer issues are fixed, the kitchen is cleaned.
I think there is a misunderstanding here. I didn’t say that there is no value in discussing commonly suppressed or censored topics on the internet. I said that I would not want them associated with my regular account, which I believe is a good practice, especially if discussing said things could put you at risk.
I personally don’t see the value. If I’d want to talk about stuff, I don’t want my username associated with, maybe
I also wonder if it wouldn’t make moderation harder?
I am just an armchair expert, but aren’t “dark empaths” already real? For example individuals with narcissistic personality disorder don’t necessarily lack empathy. Also manipulation “benefits” greatly from being empathic.
I don’t know if it’s a popular movie, but Ghibli’s Ocean Waves is one of the worst movies I’ve watched recently. Nothing really happens and jumping between the protagonists memories and present time was confusing at first. But most importantly the main romance is incredibly unlikable. I don’t know if it’s just what 90ies pop-culture expected (young) women to be like, but looking at it now she resembles someone with serious psychological issues who compensates by being manipulative and cold.
For me interstellar suffered from it’s hype. i expected a great, innovative movie and found it… okay.
League of Legends. A little proud to say that it took a lot of time to remember I used to dump hours into that hellscape of a game.
Don’t get me wrong, League can be fun and some champ designs are just chef’s kiss. But at some point I just felt like I wasn’t improving any more and got far less.endorphins And ofc, the community is salty and unable to understand that flaming=lower win chances. And I have to admit, I was easily irritated, too, writing messages to support faster than Karen can call the cops.
After quitting I realized it was either a way to distract myself from my problems or actually a form of punishing myself. I wouldn’t be surprised if many other players were stuck with it for that reason, perpatuating the toxicity further.

Telling the “computer” to do a thing and it just does. AI has it’s upsides and saves me so much time and energy
Not keeping proper distance to the vehicle in front or behind them
I heard that it is supposedly forbidden in my country to name a child “Satan”. I live in a pretty progressive/ not very religious country, so I find that absolutely moronic. I would totally ask if it was possible to assign that as a second name.
And even though my low low bar, I would probably never name my child after any brand, place or food item. Names that sugest stupidity are also off the list.
Andor. It feels so different and it is interesting because it builds the empire, but somehow it just felt too different. I watched a video essay about it recently, where the essayist made the point that he loves it for being more serious and darker in tone than most other Star Wars Media. I wonder if seen through this lens I’d enjoy it more during a rewatch.
