Unfortunately I’ve heard that a lot of people especially from academia are moving to bluesky. I’ve already started talking to some people I know about Mastodon. I hope the word spreads around.

It’s not really a big problem, there’s a very small minority of rich people. We can sort out the problem in less than a week.

I’m still in awe of how good the quality of this was at the time. Hell, even now rigging is horrible on so many things.
