I’d recommend POP!_OS. Very easy to install and use and most games I’ve tried to play work without any problems.

I’ve been told what it means yet every time I see it my brain goes “for the…” and I can’t figure out the last 2 letters. And I have to look it up to be reminded that it means “fixed that for you”. But every time I forget and I have to look it up again.
Play games on GeForce NOW at a higher resolution than 1080p. :-/
Baldur’s Gate 3, mostly. But I’ve been playing Pathfinder Wrath of The Righteous when the others in the group I play with can’t play.
Oh, and some Cities Skylines II here and there. Works reasonably well with the controller, but it’s not perfect.
I really like it so far, especially with the new apps. I’m using Boost and I honestly can’t tell the difference between this and the old Boost for Reddit. The transition is really smooth. Oh, and everything on Lemmy feels very intuitive and the people seem less toxic.
And Mastodon…I really like it. I’ll post something with the right hashtags and suddenly there’s a conversation between a bunch of people with the same interests that goes on for weeks!
Avalonia does support Linux. :)
I have an account and never posted anything because it feels intimidating to post my first…post there. (Do people on Mastodon call it post or is there a different word similar to Twitter’s ‘tweets’?).
It looks really good though, but I find it more intimidating than Lemmy / kbin!
I was wondering why it looked different from some of the screenshots I see here but when I play on mobile it’s just an endless list that gets bigger and requires a lot of scrolling. Switched my browser to desktop mode and now I can see you can drag and drop stuff. These types of games are so simple but so addicting. Ahhh
