I’m a big fan of Elementary OS, it’s likely the most user friendly desktop, easy to use and plenty of advanced features, such as thoughtful options to make the interface usable by everyone.

Elementary OS.
I really like the focus on delivering a solid, intuitive and snappy desktop environment. It is absolutely what I recommend to newbies, who are looking for a Windows or macOS replacement.
The Amiga 500 is hard to beat.
4·9 months agoKnowing better and Philosophy Tube are both rather good as well. I do miss Casual Criminalist from YouTube, otherwise Nebula has my bases covered.
I’d go with ElementaryOS, it is a solid intuitive desktop which will serve most people well.
