Absolutely agreed all around.

For me, in my job, AI has been a fantastic tool. It feels like I was using a plain screw driver and now I have a cordless, light power drill. It really is doing “grunt” work for me so I can focus on the more complex tasks.

AI is the evolution of tools. Like any other modern tool, either learn it and use it or be left behind.

At that time, my view of the feature will change to unacceptable. Until then, it is acceptable.

Disregarding the jobs that fall into this category, how about something like, “low barrier to entry” jobs.

I’m not that guy, but the term IT is extremely overloaded these days. People can say they are in IT working anything from a $20/hr help desk job to a $900k/yr AI engineer in big tech.

Industry, company, location can all have massive effects on salary.

This sentiment will be the downfall of America. Maybe that’s what you want. Not me.

People keep making this argument comparing TikTok to American social media companies when talking about data.

What is hard to understand? Americans are fine with other Americans or American companies having their data. Americans are not fine with China having their data.

It is pretty simple.

I’ve had the exact same experience. People on this site don’t like when others don’t hate Windows.

Same. I’ve had Michelin star meals, meals from world famous chefs, and everything in between. And sometimes the only thing I want is a McDs double cheese burger.
