I’ve been learning languages for the past 10 years or so, including English, the language I’m writing this message in, which is not my native language.

I certainly don’t know what the “best” way is, but what I do is get a lot of input, review vocabulary with Anki (spaced repetition software), and slowly make my way through the pile of grammar.

Yes, I did stuff like this when I was a kid, everybody does, but no, I wasn’t actively encouraged to do so, au contraire, my parents always taught me how to behave in public and I’m grateful for it. Kids will become adults one day, if they are never taught how to behave they’ll probably end up being entitled pricks that think they can do whatever they want whenever they want.

I mostly use my laptop for coding, language learning, and watching TV series. I do play games on it but rarely, I got enough consoles and handhelds and I prefer using them instead of the computer, I’d use the computer if I want to play a game for a console I don’t have tho.

Really? I mean, humans can ride horses and I think aa horse would struggle to eat an adult human being. For this example I am assuming that horses are predators and as such are equipped with claws and fangs of course.

I got a tablet, nothing fancy, Lenovo M11 or something, IDK, but now I can read in bed and have a huge screen for Anki reviews, it has a little pen too, so I can practice writing Japanese characters or just doodle while reading, so far so good.
