I feel like I fell in a parallel universe with the dumbest possible timeline sometime in the mid 2010s
or two guys from the swiss guard.
I have to use Windows for work and the most annoying thing is the OneDrive-Sync. It makes the explorer extremely slow. When I open it, sometimes it takes more than 5 sec till I can use it. Wtf is this, 1997? Another thing is Teams with the awful performance and constant design changes.
Yeah thanks, I meant the proximity flying with a wingsuit where they fly very close to the terrain. I live close to a mountain where they are doing this. The videos are stunning but we hear about accidents regularly in local media. If something happens your done. No thx: https://youtu.be/QKMkhCsgsas
I had both for a while. And somehow Monday’s still felt a bit like Monday. So I would go with Friday.
wingsuit. How do they even train?
Yes, if they are really interested and don’t have IT background. My mother once thought I look up codes in books and type it into the computer.
yes ofc you are right
I would try to save the roman republic and prevent the roman kindgom. It would also be interesting to see what would have happend if they never switched to christianity.
Getting an Apprenticeship and starting an IT career probably.
This guy is completely out of touch. The last thing the world and especially Indonesia needs is even more people. No matter where you go there are more employees than customers. You can imagine what the wages are like. The traffic is absolutely nuts and schools are packed. They are great and very nice people and they would be all better off if there were fewer of them.
Italian Minestrone or swiss barley soup. Just cut everything to small pieces. These types of soups are very filling, I often eat them as main dish.
Goulash might work as well but you have to cook it really long so that the meat fells apart easily.
Hostpoint, one of the largest hosting companies of Switzerland uses Linux Clients.
I disable it for very few sites. These sites provide nice and free niche content but don’t show any ads. I just disable so that the tracking works for sure, to motivate them continue running the site.
are the other planets even trying?
Actually I was not even joking. I also work in IT and have exactly the same opinion. Friday is for easy stuff!
never do updates on a Friday.
more communities. longer comment chains. people engaging in live-threads for example like on /r/soccer.
Short answer: Yes he was a talented speaker and a great manipulator. He knew what the crowd wanted to hear and he could express it very well. However, this is a great simplification.
Longer answer: The problem is we view his speeches from todays perspective. The world now is very different so we can only assume how germans felt at the time. If you are really interested in it, I suggest to read some books from Erich Maria Remarque. These show from the perspective of the time how it could have come to this. Germany, once a proud superpower, was devastated after the First World War. The heavy defeat, supply problems, hyperinflation and all that struggle, provided the breeding ground for all kinds of radical factions. It was no wonder a demagogue like Hitler was so well received back then. From today’s perspective, this is not really possible to judge. The Allies knew that this could not happen again after the Second World War. Thats why the Marshall Plan was introduced, which led to Germany maturing into a modern western democracy.
