    Wettlaufer had confessed to killing patients several times prior to her confession at CAMH, including to a lawyer who advised her to keep it a secret, and was not reported to police.

    This is something of a pattern that I’ve seen over the years where people know that someone is a killer or serial killer and … Then continue to do nothing about it, didn’t see anything, etc. these people weren’t threatened, they weren’t in danger, they could simply notify the police, yet didn’t

      For the lawyer, it’s their job to advise clients, which means there has to be some privilege or the whole thing is a farce. For the others, I’m not sure. Did they mistake it for a joke, or something? Like in a certain famous film.

      The lady who saw Pickton butchering a human body decided to blackmail him instead. So, probably for money, there.
