Your dude wants to literally abolish the Department of Education, and your contribution is calling us fat.
Say one thing about the right, they sure know their electorate.
The department of education is mostly just a pass through agency. Standards are set by the states. It doesn’t take 4000 employees to divy up funding.
Default respond to any cost saving by the left is “nooooo”. This makes them highly irresponsible. Glad they are not in charge anymore in the US.
Now change the EU. We’re still f#cked.
The budget Deficit has increased under Republicans and decreased under Democrats consistently for decades.
How you can still think Republicans save you money is beyond insane. No child left behind really did a number on the populace.

Trump R -$6.612 trillion
Obama D -$6.781 trillion
Bush R -$3.293 trillion
Clinton D +$63 billion
Bush R -$1.036 trillion
Reagan R -$1.412 trillion
Carter D -$253 billion
Ford R -$181 billion
Nixon R -$70 billion
Johnson D -$36 billion
Kennedy D -$18 billion
Eisenhower R -$15 billion
Truman D -$5 billion
Roosevelt D -$194 billion
Hoover R -$5 billion
Is like to point out that most of Obama’s increase in budget was pushed through under Bush (because budgets are passed the prior year). And he brought it down from that starting point over his two terms. Trump immediately jacked it back up from what he inherited, and Biden decreased it again.
You can make excuses for every president it’s always the guy before them, but the numbers don’t show a decline in deficit for Democrat presidents.
Oh yeah, the party of fiscal responsibility who is now trying to pass a progressive 4,5 billions tax cut for the wealthiest part of society. Who knows when these missing funds for the government will show up in its administrative books???
You must be so wise in the way of the finances, please (not) teach us master
On both side they’ve failed horribly. I am not a republican, not even American. The main thing I like about DT’s presidency is DOGE. That is a huge game changer. Love everything about it. 👍
First time in years that I think common sense is coming back in the world. 🤷♂️
In the US, but basically it is a global phenomenon, government spending is out of control and unsustainable - Argentina showed us the way.
Wish we had DOGE in the EU. We need less unproductive bureaucrats not more.Maybe, and I say maybe, before starting to dismantle core-agencies needed for the maintenance and management of a state, one should look into the meddling between private and public interests. Like, how much of our money is being used to sustain dead-end projects such as Ai development or fossil fuel? Do we want to also look into the military spending and the paths grants provided to this end follow?
If Argentina has taught us anything is that leaving citizens without services makes the lives of those same citizens even worse. The results of no hospital, schools, or state management agencies will be shown in some years, can’t wait to see libertarians trying to spin that situation in a positive way
Nope. Argentina is recovering from the illness of socialism.
Oh yes, cut spending by eliminating agencies needed by the people to have a decent life in a developed society and present the resulting savings as a victory.
It’s like a company manager firing most of its employees and selling it’s machines presenting the administrative books at the next shareholders meeting. Much profits, wow! And then the year after the company goes bankrupt and foreclose, who can say why this has happened??? Must have been the invisible hand free market!!! Fs fs, on god
Bureaucrats don’t produce they leech. Free markets improve lives of ordinary citizens not paper pushers.
Yeah buddy, sure. I’m certain without rules and laws all companies would act in the best interests of the consumers, not selling dangerous or poisonous goods at all!! And they would never think about creating cartels to fix the prices of their products. This could never happen!!
God, you’re thick as a brick but less useful. Basically a rock with the capacity to write dumb things on the internet
Who is thick as a brick - I just report facts. I suggest to listen or read basic economics from Thomas Sowell and then come back. I’ll wait.

Wrong facts but facts nevertheless.
Please tell me how the absence of laws and agencies mandated to overview the adherence to said laws by big industrial realities could improve the quality of live for common citizens who are already power-deprived in front of big corporations thanks to the lack in founding of state agencies in return for the campaign contributions all parties rack in from their wealthy donors with each election cycle
