The line is state sponsored violence, generally. Likely with a little bias on what state is on the giving and receiving ends of said violence. Thats the rule at least so far as I can tell, at least.

I realized that as long as you are for state sponsored violence it is totally okay on Reddit. You can say I hope Russia stomps Ukraine’s out of existence but you cannot support violence by a non state actor.

Yeah I mean I got permad back in the day for saying that omicron was transmitting even among vaccinated people (like 2 weeks before that was general knowledge on the news and stuff and “accepted” information) so I get that they just censor along with whatever the current government wants but damn. I’ve been reporting people that hint at violence after I got banned for something that was 1000% not even close to a hint at political violence… like not even being sarcastic. Anyway, the more banned the more people leave. Silver linings. Reddit era deserves to be over.
