This is about your right to privacy, your right to receive adequate medical care, as well as proper sexual education regarding contraception.
Liberal areas with proper sex ed classes and adequate access to medical care for women have drastically lower abortion rates than conservative areas.
Tell those young men to not get any abortions

1000 people is such an irrelevant data set.
16-34 is such a massive age range, a 34 year old is completely different to a 16 year old.
Where was the poll even posted? Media like this is what’s causing our problems. It’s just cherry picking for headlines.

For random bias yes. Unfortunately, that age group are notoriously difficult to poll accurately. Without knowing how the polling was done, detecting systematic bias is difficult.
E.g. street polling on a Sunday morning, near a church, or mosque will get vastly different results to the same poll near the high street, on a Friday night.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a worrying poll. Buta lot of studies like this disappear back into the noise, when studied by multiple groups.
The study says they used online polling but didn’t elaborate further so who’s to say what biases there may or may not be. But generally ipsos does a pretty good job with their polling.
I do agree that most of these polls tend to end up being nothing burgers, but there has been a recent trend of younger males gravitating towords the right of the political spectrum. I mainly commented to point out that a sample size of 1000 is generally recognized to be large enough for accuracy.

My (ex) best friend from childhood is now 39, single, has a kid, and is an incel who blames all his problems on women. And I mean literally: he can’t keep a job because of women. when i was looking for jobs after school, i was in various job forums, and one disccussion piqued my interest in biology, they are supassing men in getting thos degrees, plus grad studies and in jobs. also certain people stop trying to apply to certain jobs if they recieved too many rejections, hence they fall out of the academic field.
i was following a channel owned by asians, during the pandemic, somehting happened between them and a female employee which caused peoplt o turn on them, and the incels to support the men of the channel. the women were all blamed(that worked there previously on the channel but did not leave on good terms) for thier channels decline. they dont realize they were spreading misinformation attacking her character, siccing the fans on her to discredit her, plus also trying to brigade the subreddits about the channels to censor them. i checked back the sub from time to time, and they definitely are in love trump, not surprised, plus peterson, musk, and even one of them bragging about knowing a pedophile teacher.
Omg the number of guys like this who claim to have been set back or hurt somehow by positive discrimination (which they call “forced diversity”), but can’t conjure up a single concrete example when challenged and just segue into the next rant…

The algorithms are all pointing them towards manosphere content that says shit like “your body, my choice”. Don’t ignore the gender bias
Warren Farrell has been warning the world for 20 years that neglecting and marginalising young men is going to result in generations of angry men who have checked out of society and will turn to criminality. By every available metric from suicide to educational outcomes, boys and young men are suffering enormously. Drowning people do terrible things. Lashing out at society in the ballot box is going to be the least of our issues soon.
Despite this, I predict society will continue to blame them for their failures, marginalise them, mock them, and pretend that they’re privileged. This is going to get worse until people are ready to have a serious society-wide discussion about how we can help young men succeed in the modern world.
I think it’s funny how if you ignore the needs and wants of young men, you get an increase in angry criminals that drag society down. But if you ignore the needs and wants of young women, you get business as usual. Thats why so many men resist women speaking up. They think it takes their voice away; they don’t want to be treated like women, so they rebel. We need a new status quo that treats us as equals. Don’t shame young men, but people need to be teaching them to be better too.
I don’t think framing their issues in terms of women’s issues is helpful. “But what about men” is just a unhelpful when dealing with issues for women. Feminism did great things to advance the interests of women, and it required coordination and struggle over many decades against a system which wasn’t receptive to their needs. Now, each year, the U.S. spends close to $8B on women’s initiatives spanning many areas from healthcare to education. If you’re suggesting men need their own movement, perhaps you’re right. Perhaps what we’re seeing is the early formation of that. Messy, uncoordinated, and immature, as are all early movements.
In the mean time, I don’t think “be better” is a resonant message. It was rightly dismissed when people said it to women in the 1960s and it should be dismissed now. These issues are structural and require structural solutions. I think a big part of this is economic. Men are taught from a young age (by men and women) that unless they make a lot of money, they’re worthless. Society is offering fewer and fewer opportunities for men in traditionally blue collar industries to thrive. If we offer few opportunities and call them worthless for not succeeding, this is a recipe for societal instability.

I don’t think young men are genetically predisposed to this. They are the product of the society in which they grow up. They’re seeking help because no one else is there to help.
