For the abrahamitic religions, I’d say that the problem is the age of their texts. Their metaphors and the societies they were created in are so outdated that in order to live by the texts, which have to be followed since they are the only cornerstone everything is built upon, you need specialists that are authority figures like priests who you have to trust as a laiman in order to learn what the texts meaning is. Because not everyone can devote themselves to theology.

Offsprings facing judgement for their parents is fucked up. They didn’t choose their parents. As for getting the Palestinians justice after their genocide: realisticaly we can only try to make the right wing Israelis see them as equal humans after a few generations or support Israel’s left so they push them out. To do that we have to keep telling the Palestinians story. As for the real history beeing erased: as I currently see it the support for Israels actions is dwindling in the western countries. So I don’t think the narrative beeing replaced is realistic. There also is too much evidence for what happened. Israel isn’t all powerful.

Insect farming is still worse in terms of Greenhouse gases than just eating the plants directly. While it is more efficient than traditional farming it also isn’t necessary for a healthy diet. I haven’t found a reliable study that examines how many tons of greenhouse gases could be saved by switching to an insect diet but I think it’s best to just directly switch to a plant based diet. Just as a remain reminder: 14 % of global greenhouse gases are produced by meat production according to a UN study.
